A Disney Halloween Introduction

Wednesday, September 30, 2020

I am not a fan of scary things. I don't like horror or even thriller movies. Don't give me ghosts or anything supernatural or paranormal. October and Halloween can be really bas for me because I get scared easily. However, I love watching children and family oriented Halloween movies. They're the perfect amount of scary and fun. And thus, when I was planning my content for October, I decided to do a series where I watch Disney Halloween movies. I love Disney movies and TV shows (I have a lot to say about the company itself) so this was the best choice.

I have 14 movies I want to watch and talk about. Some are brand new to me and others are long time favorites. Here are some of the movies I'm going to watch for this month:

It's hard for me to believe that September is over! I can't believe that I've finally listened to all of Taylor's music and watched all of the music videos. In this post I want to wrap it up by talking about the documentary and ranking her albums. It's been the most interesting month and I'm so glad I ended up doing this.

Taylor Swift-a-Thon: Favorite Music Videos

Ever since she released folklore in June, I have been on a Taylor Swift binge. While Red is my favorite album of Taylor's, folklore has come very close to being second or even tied for first place. Now that I've listened to all of her songs and talked about my favorite lyrics, I felt like it was only time to also look at her music videos. I've been watching them as I listen to each of the albums and here are my thoughts.

The videos are in random order. I did notice that even her older videos had a decent quality compared to other videos during that same time.

Ever since she released folklore in June, I have been on a Taylor Swift binge. While Red is my favorite album of Taylor's, folklore has come very close to being second or even tied for first place. We've finally come to an end with all of Taylor Swift's songs. We all know that Taylor writes all of her songs, either with co-writers or by herself, and she is one of the strongest in the business. I wanted to take a moment to talk about my favorite song lyrics of her's!

Ever since she released folklore in June, I have been on a Taylor Swift binge. While Red is my favorite album of Taylor's, folklore has come very close to being second or even tied for first place. In honor of her eighth studio album, I decided it would be fun to finally listen to all of her discography! Even though she's had eight studio albums, she has released songs outside of her albums. In this post I'm going to be listening to those songs! I didn't include any songs that she covered.

In honor of her eighth studio album, I decided it would be fun to finally listen to all of her discography! So today, I have her fourth album, self titled Red.

On October 22, 2012, my favorite Taylor Swift album was released. If y'all don't know, I hadn't heard a full Swift album until this one came along. I was 18 at the time, in high school, and there was a lot of personal issues going on in my life. For some reason, I felt like listening to this album. I don't know what happened, or why, but I fell head over heels in love. I wasn't in any romantic situations but I found that I could listen to these songs regardless.  I also included the secret messages that were included for all of the regular version songs.

I also just want to take a moment to say that this album deserved Album of the Year at the Grammy's.

I was excited to listen to Fearless because this is where she became a huge star. It was released on  November 11, 2008 and I was 14 at the time. Love Story, I think is the song that really led her to becoming mainstream--in my opinion.

Ever since she released folklore in June, I have been on a Taylor Swift binge. While Red is my favorite album of Taylor's, folklore has come very close to being second or even tied for first place. In honor of her eighth studio album, I decided it would be fun to finally listen to all of her discography! So today, I have her debut album, self titled Taylor Swift.

I cannot believe she wrote these during her freshman year of high school! This was released on October 24, 2006 and I was 12 years old. She was only four years older than me when this came out. I wasn't a big fan of country music so I didn't really listen to her music. I only heard "Teardrops On My Guitar" because a friend was listening to it.
